Refund policy

Returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, unopened, with tags (if applicable), and in its original packaging unless defective or damaged. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, contact us at info@fairscent.com with your order number and the reason for the return. Please contact us to initiate a return and receive return instructions.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Return shipping costs

  • If you no longer want the item (for example, you changed your mind): a standard return shipping fee of $6.99 will be deducted from your refund (or billed if a refund is not available).

  • If the return is due to our mistake (for example, wrong item sent, missing item, or an order fulfillment error): we will cover the return shipping cost and provide a prepaid return label at no cost to you.


Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 7days of delivery if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items

For safety and hygiene reasons, certain types of items cannot be returned, including:

  • Opened or used personal care items (including fragrances and beauty products) unless they arrive damaged or defective.

  • Custom or personalized products

  • Perishable goods

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

  • Gift cards

Exchanges

We do not accept exchanges. If you would like a different item, the fastest way is to request a return (if eligible). Once your return is accepted, you can place a new order for the desired product.


Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 7 business days after we receive and inspect the return. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
